Writer, Producer & Director
Brian has produced, directed, and written over 70 half hour documentaries along with two feature length documentaries. He spearheaded the development and production of the APTN series, Eastern Tide {“Wabanaagig”} and Circle of Justice, which screened at 17 film festivals around the world, debuted at the Smithsonian Institute and aired on APTN, CBC and IFC. Brian then went on to direct The Sacred Sundance for the National Film Board of Canada.

“How Do We Listen” A musical presentation at Mount Allison University on Residential Schools.
“Voices from the Barrens” A film that focuses on Mi’kmaq seasonal workers who harvest
blueberries in the Passamoquoddy territory.
“Elipgenigemg – Baskets” Documentary produced in Mi’kmaq language depicting the ancient art of basket making while featuring several Elders from the Elsipogtog community.
